Sendero Coffee is produced exclusively by a small group of passionate coffee lovers based in London. We have searched the globe for the best, and often the most remote, coffee-producing regions to source the finest Arabica beans.

We work directly with local families and cooperatives on small-scale, sustainable farms to ensure the best quality coffee and ethical labour practices.

The beans are hand-picked, selected, dried, and small-batch roasted and ground for maximum consistency and freshness.

Here are some examples of where we source our coffee:

Ugandan Arabica

Nestled in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains is the Bukonzo organic co-op, consisting of approximately 5000 individual farmers. Recognised by the Speciality Coffee Association for empowering gender equality (over 85% of the farms are owned by women), our Ugandan coffee beans carry distinctive notes of cocoa and berries, and make a strong, full bodied coffee with a strength rating of 5/5.

Guatemalan Arabica

Renowned for its extravagant landscapes and rich, fertile soils, Guatemala is also recognised for the excellence of its coffee. Here we showcase Arnoldo Pérez and his family, who own a small farm in Acatenango. Sendero has helped Arnoldo to develop his own infrastructure and processing facilities on the farm, providing us with a distinctive but subtle single estate coffee that carries a medley of bourbon and Catura, with an enticing aftertaste and syrupy body, and a strength rating of 3/5.

Mexican Arabica

We travelled over 1500 miles across Mexico to Oaxaca to find this unique group of coffee farms. Located between the Pacific Ocean and the region’s main central valley at an altitude of 1400-1900 meters, climate plays an important role in producing a coffee that holds a perfect balance between vibrancy and delicacy, and a strength rating of 5/5.

Brazilian Arabica

At Sendero, we love coffee for the caffeine boost it gives us. But we understand that sometimes we all need a caffeine-free coffee experience. The challenge for us as coffee lovers was to find a way of creating a decaffeinated coffee that did not sacrifice flavour and body for convenience. We decided to use Swiss water in the extraction process, guaranteed pure and free from chemicals and impurities. Oh, and the coffee? Sourced from Minas Gerais in Brazil, it carries unique notes of caramel and nuts, and is caffeine-free so you can enjoy a cup before bedtime.

Delicious Coffee Without Compromises

Our Nespresso compatible capsules are certified by Climate Partner as Climate/CO2 neutral and are a convenient, eco solution to aluminium capsules. After brewing your coffee, simply dispose of your capsules in your home compost or food waste bin, no need to remove the ground coffee.
