Why KOFFI DISC?

Taste

Paper filters can give your coffee a papery taste, they also block natural oils from your brew, removing a huge amount of flavour and body. The DISC blocks grit whilst allowing through natural oils leading to a full bodied, brighter, naturally sweeter, organic flavour. We promise you’ll notice the difference.

Perfect Brewing

The Fine & Mesh DISC are designed to be used with the Inverted Method. We recommend always using the Inverted Method when using your AeroPress, this allows for a more controlled brew time and better extraction.

Quality

The KOFFI DISC MESH is made from an ultra fine, high quality mesh . It will not allow grit into your cup, even when using a ultra fine grind. The KOFFI DISC FINE is made for a coarser grind with 0.02mm holes to allow only flavour through.

Portability

At KOFFI we don’t believe in bad coffee, we take our filters everywhere we go. Camping, Hotels, Work? The DISC makes your AeroPress ultra portable, no more paper filters, simply lock the DISC into your cap and go.

Easy to Clean

The KOFFI DISC MESH is super easy to clean. It will not clog, even if you’re using a superfine Turkish grind. A simple rinse under hot water is all you need to remove left-behind grounds.

The FINE is easily cleaned under running water.

How To

Everyone has their own way to prepare their brew. Here’s ours:
1. Fit the Disc in place of usual filter (It will be a snug fit to start with but will ease up with use)
2. With the AeroPress inverted add 16-18g of ground coffee.
3. Add enough water to just cover the coffee, stir and allow to bloom for a few seconds.
4. Slowly add more water, fill to the just above the No. 1 mark and stir.
5. Allow to stand for 1 minute.
6. Flip onto a cup and press slowly.
7. Stop when you hear the hiss.
Wash before first use.

The Perfect Coffee for Your Disc

At Koffi we’ve worked with an artisan coffee roaster to create coffee roasts perfectly suited for use with the AeroPress and Koffi Disc.

Our single origin Brazilian ‘Agua Limpa’ is a perfect all day coffee. Lightly roasted the milk chocolate and sweet fruit flavours of this coffee will greatly enhance your AeroPress experience!

If you’re looking for an evening coffee our decaf Ethiopian ‘Jabena’ will hit the spot. This truly is a fantastic decaf! Lightly roasted and packed full of flavour this coffee has hints of sweet fruit and warm spice.

The ‘Peruvian Santa Cruz’ is nutty and chocolatey with a fruity tone whilst our Gedeo is the classic light and aromatic flavour of the Yirgacheffe region.
